The 2026 World Series opens Friday, October 23, at American Family Field in Milwaukee: the Tampa Bay Rays against the Milwaukee Brewers, at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX. Milwaukee, 103–59 in the regular season, holds home-field advantage in the best-of-seven, 2-3-2 format.

How they got here: Tampa Bay beat Cleveland in six games in the American League Championship Series, with Freddy Peralta winning Games 2 and 6 and taking the series MVP award. Milwaukee swept Los Angeles in four games in the National League Championship Series; Jake Bauers was its MVP. Neither franchise has ever won a World Series — this is Tampa Bay’s third trip and Milwaukee’s first since 1982.

The probable pitchers for Game 1 are Drew Rasmussen for Tampa Bay and Jacob Misiorowski for Milwaukee.

On Kalshi, the Series market priced Milwaukee at 62% and Tampa Bay at 38%.
