The season premiered October 7, 2026 with 5.85 million total viewers and a 0.42 in adults 18-49 on the night (Nielsen Live+Same Day). With a week of delayed viewing counted across platforms, the premiere reached 8.8 million viewers — the top broadcast show of October 7 on that measure and NBC’s top show of the young season, with its 18-49 rating up 19% from the Season 11 premiere.
It was also the only non-CBS scripted show in premiere week’s broadcast Top 10 besides Dancing with the Stars. No Season 13 announcement had been made as of October 22, 2026.
